Have you ever looked at a bright, bold piece of patterned paper and thought what on earth am I going to do with this? Well I’m hoping to help you out with your troubles! In this article we will give you several examples how to take that bold, bright pattern paper and turn it into a stunning layout!
For my layout I used the KI Pop Culture Coloring Book paper. The patterns on this paper would normally be difficult to work with. | Debbie took the same approach as I did with my layout. By trimming the stars and circles from the bright patterned paper, layering them on top of one another and pairing it with solid cardstock she kept with the bright, bold look but subdued it just a bit. |

| Another great idea with crazy patterns is to use your shaped punch and punch out different sized shapes and collage them like Chrys did with her Tissue Box holder. By using the patterns in small doses Chrys was able to achieve a very pleasing project! |

| Kristi chose to use small pieces of patterned paper from several different manufacturers. She used the solid turquoise color to tie them all together as a border around the edge. |

| Maegan used a busy piece of patterned paper as her background. By pairing solid cardstock on the busy patterns she was able to place her photos directly on the cardstock without matting them. Maegan’s tip: “Use several pieces of solid cardstock in order to balance out the business of the patterned paper.” |
