by Lacintha Naidoo
As scrapbookers become more aware of the quality of photographs they are taking, their scrapbooking focus shifts. Whereas once I used to haul out the boxes of pics of my daughter’s birthday parties, a family get-together or a special holiday, I now find myself scrapping only those near perfect photographs. You know the ones; where your subject is almost not looking at the camera, or the light is just perfect…we all have them and we’re pros at scrapping them.
But what becomes of the shoeboxes full of birthday and holiday photos? Well with this article, the Booya girls and I hope to inspire you to dig out the pics showcasing those special events, and get to scrapping them again.
So I hope that this article has inspired you to go dig up those old boxes full of special memories and events, and get to working on them. You’ll have some wonderful memories to share forever and you’ll find yourself taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane while you’re creating.
