Scrapping with a Craft Knife

by Shawna Webster

Using a craft knife with your scrapbooking can be lots of fun.  My favorite knife is the fingertip one from Fiskars that can be purchased here in the store.

For this layout I used my knife to cut patterns out of my paper.  I love doing this. It’s a cheap way to get fun embellishments for your page.

Kristi used templates for her layout. She used Coluzzle circles which make it easy to cut thin shapes without tearing your paper.

Maegan covered a chipboard shape with patterned paper and used her exacto knife to cut it out. Using your knife is much easier than scissors when trying to get into all the little spaces.

Anne did some reverse printing using Microsoft word. She then used her exacto knife to handcut her title. Again easier than scissors to get that perfect cut.

Cyndi used her knife freehand. She cut a wave in her patterned paper and cut her star out for a fun added element.
